A little about me
Caroline Caves is in her third year of teaching and first year at Indian Springs Middle School.
Ms. Caves began her teaching career in Kaufman ISD as the Assistant Band director as Norman Junior High and Kaufman High School. During her first year of teaching she was promoted to Head Band Director at Norman Junior High. Ms. Caves was also the Color Guard Director at Kaufman High School during her years in Kaufman.
Ms. Caves is originally from Arlington, Texas, where she graduated from Arlington High School. She received her undergraduate education from Texas Christian University, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Music Education. During her time at TCU she primarily played the clarinet and bass clarinet in the TCU Wind Symphony. She also spent time playing the euphonium and saxophone in the TCU Concert Band, and baritone in the TCU Horned Frog-Marching Band and TCU Basketball Band.
Ms. Caves has taught as a private lesson instructor and marching tech at many schools in the DFW area including Arlington High School, North Ridge Middle School, McLean Middle School, and Stripling Middle School. Ms. Caves is a member of Texas Music Educators Association and Tau Beta Sigma Honorary Band Sorority.
During her free time, she spends time with her family, volunteers at her church with the youth ministry, and plays with her puppy, Forest. Ms. Caves loves teaching, music, and most of all getting to work with students and is overjoyed to be a part of the Keller ISD family!
